King George is the stage name for a contemporary R&B and blues singer based in Hopkins, South Carolina. Known for his smooth, old-school Southern soul vocals, he built a following independently before a sudden surge in popularity in 2022.

George grew up in Hampton, Virginia, and was exposed to gospel and church music by his musically inclined parents. He started his career as the rap moniker Yung Holliday independently, releasing his first rap album, "Trap Holliday" in 2018. He continued with this gansta rap facade until also trying his hand at Southern Soul as "King George" in 2020 with the release of the single "Leave & Party". But it was his 2022 single, "Keep On Rollin'", became a breakout hit, generating millions of streams on Spotify and YouTube. This momentum also propelled "Leave & Party" to massive airplay along with "Friday Night", "Too Long", "Night-Time", others. A total of 7 songs was compiled for his first full length Southern Soul album (more of an EP, really), "Juke Joint Music".

By the end of 2022, his success led to him headlining the famous Blues Is Alright Tour. Since then he's been releasing a steady stream of popular tracks like "Girl You Got It", which appeared on his King George & Friends compilation album "Cookout Music". This comp also included tracks by P2k DaDiddy, Coldrank, Shay and a couple of his Yung Holliday tracks.  This was followed by the hits "Can't Judge Nobody", Lil Weight", "It's Over" and "Baby if I".

In addition he's collaborated with other Southern Soul srtists like Tucka ("Jukebox Lover (Remix)"), Boosie Badazz ("Spoil Me"), West Love ("The Mac"), Frank Johnson ("Sweet Love", "Believe 'Em"), Snoop Dogg ("Unbelievable"), others.
