Cherone Brown

Born June 30, 1970 in Indianola, MS as the second of five children, singer/songwriter Cherone Brown grew up surrounded by a rich history of blues tradition and legendary entertainers.

In 1991, Brown left the Mississippi Delta with hopes of finding his place in the world. His ventures included, Little Rock, AR, Indianapolis, IN, and his current home of Dallas, TX. In 1998, Brown released the single “Slow Roller”. Due to irreconcilable differences between Brown and his Executive Producer, the single never received world-wide exposure.

But even with a full and happy life, Brown’s dreams it sing the blues still lingered in his heart. So with the support of his family and friends, Brown rolled his sleeves and decided to once again, pursue his dreams, to sing. He has opened for BB King on numerous occasions and also performed at BB’s 83rd Birthday Celebration. Brown is currently promoting his debut CD entitled “Toss It Up
