
Bobby Stringer
As a Solo Performer, he hit the music
scene in the 1970’s and 80’s with such singles as “Before You” and a
cover version of “Funky Broadway” that brought to sellout crowds at
the “Copa” and ”The Baby Grand”, in addition to other Clubs in New
York City and around the Country. Bobby also has released a
well-received Collection of Reggae love songs and a rap single
entitled “The Sarge”.
His group, The International Platters features Stringer, four
additional Gentlemen and a Lady. Performing all The Great Platter
Hits from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. Boasting a Repertoire of more
than 500 Songs. Stringer’s Melodic Voice and Electrifying Stage
Presence has been featured in Spain, Mexico, Bahamas, and throughout
the United States.
Stringer returned to recording in the 00's and released a CD with
Roy C (Hammond) label called “My Sweet Thing”, featuring the
songs “You turned my world around”, “Living for the weekend”, and
(Tyrone Davis) “The turning point”.
His latest CD, "I'm Not To Blame" was released in 2009
